Basing on the technological support of Jilin University, the company cooperates close with such units as Hong Kong University, Beijing Chemistry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Changchun Applied Chemistry Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tianjin University and Northeast University etc and has established the applied center of nanometer technology. Dedicating to the development of core technology and the innovation in applied field of nanometer technology, the company creates markets opportunities to impulse its growth and development.

Through several years’ research and exploration, the company has successfully developed the new generation nanometer paint---the nanometer paint made of true plant polymer emulsion of nanometer level without emulsifiers. With such technology been approved to reach the international leading level, the company undertook the National 863 Industrialization key project jointly with Jilin University and FAW and successfully completed the key project one year ahead of schedule under the great support of the national scientific research fund. In July 2005, an over 20,000m2 Water Nanometer paint base with German advanced auto paint production line was established in High-Tech. Industrial Development Zone of Changchun City. Since its environmental friendliness, sterilization, high self-cleaning capacity, super anti-weathering capacity, excellent decorative property and hydrophobic and oleophobic performance, it has been widely used in such fields as the internal and external walls of buildings, metal steel structure, automobiles, machinery  manufacture, wooden tools, plastics and chemistry anticorrosive materials. Mulan Painting Water Nanometer Paint has been approved by the ISO9001 Quality Management System, ISO14001 Environment Management System, China Environmental Labeling system and has won the honor of Environment-friendly and Good Reputation Brand. The products are appraised as famous-brand products in Jilin Province and National inspection-free products.

At present, the company has owned core technology, patent, products and a research group in relevant field with a series of main products from low to high level and has advanced technology advantages and certain market reputation in the relevant segment market.
